I keep hearing and reading for years that as a photographer one of the things I should do is to write a blog, to which I have always answered and thought the same thing: there is no need to do it, my photographs and galleries are my blog.

I don’t think I have much to say or teach, but rather I have always kept my opinion to those who know me well and are closer to me, to whom I hammer their heads endlessly with my ideas.

I am one of those who like to learn more from my colleagues in the world of photography, especially in the distance and loneliness in which many of us photographers live, with little or no contact with professional colleagues (to this loneliness I will dedicate a post one day for sure).

But it is true that many of these colleagues are the ones who call me “storyteller” and push me to share my opinions and experiences from the countries where I have lived.

After a lot of thinking about it I have come to the conclusion that my blog would have to be a mix where I tell my assignments from a more personal point of view than showing the pictures, blended with reviews of the many products I use (for better and for worse) , adding some of those stories that many of my colleagues love to hear, and be open to many other ideas along the way (I am one of those people with a restless head, I don’t stop thinking even when I sleep).

Well, I was wrong, and as they say, “it is for the wise, to rectify” so here is my blog, I hope you like it.
