    OMAR HAVANA PHOTOGRAPHY PROPOSES DIFFERENT LICENSING OPTIONS

    My rates have a very simple pricing system: you pay for the first hour of work, and then each additional hour costs an extra, considering that an hour is a time between 1 minute and 59 minutes.

    There are no half-hours or 25 minutes, the work is calculated by the hour. As explained above, these are the starting rates for the most common license package (Basic License described below) but the more rights you request, the higher the licensing fee.

    How does this work? Simple, the more rights you request, the higher the licensing fee.

    So it is important that you understand how and where the pictures will be used and only request rights which are necessary. If you need some help with this, I recommend you to read this article.

    The packages below apply ONLY to events, conferences, portraits, commercial work and corporate work

    BASIC LICENSE
    The copyright of the photographs will be shared between the client and the photographer under the non-exclusive, non-commercial, non-assignable and non-sublicensable right to use the photos. The license term is 10 years.

    INCLUDED:

    . all internal communication purposes
    . publishing on your websites, your social media and newsletters.
    . print and digitalize in-house materials.
    . promotional materials like printed or digital presentations, video presentations, annual reports, brochures, banners, etc.

    NOT INCLUDED:

    . Media / PR use.
    . Third-party advertising.
    . Transfer of rights to a third party by you or your company.

    MEDIA LICENSE
    The copyright of the photographs will be shared between the client and the photographer under the non-exclusive, non-commercial, non-assignable and non-sublicensable right to use the photos. The license term is 10 years.

    . publications in media outlets and magazines and online media outlets are authorized (except for photography agencies and media agencies) always with the condition that photos are credited as Photo by Omar Havana.

    NOT INCLUDED:

    . Third-party advertising
    .Syndication of the photos by the media outlets (in other words, media outlets cannot distribute the photos to any other party; only the client can freely distribute the photos to the media).
    .Distributing to media agencies and photo agencies is not allowed without a commercial license.

    IN ALL PACKAGES:

    The licenses for the images cannot be transferred and may not be sold to or via a third party. This means that any resale of the images, as well as their licensing, is not allowed unless a written agreement exists between both parties.

    The photographer may use any of their images for promotional purposes, such as digital and printed materials, portfolios, books, websites, mobile apps etc.

    EDITING RATES:

    As you probably know, my work is just starting when I stop taking photos.

    Editing is a very important part of our work and something all clients need, so for that reason, there is also an editing fee, which depends on when you want me to deliver the photos.

    If you want me to deliver the photos within a maximum of 7 working days after the event is finished (ONLY applied to a 1–2-day assignment), the editing fee is included in the price (one extra working day of delivery will be added per extra day of the assignment).

    If you need the delivery of the photos faster, an extra fee will be charged on the final receipt, giving the option of delivery within 2 working days after the completion of the assignment or even faster, and more expensive, for delivery of the photos within 1 working day after the completion of the assignment; this option is ONLY available for 1 or 2 days assignments (i.e. 1-8 hours).

    And if you need a more complicated retouching, I have the great privilege of working with Joan Roig from Cromagnon TV in Barcelona whom I consider to be the master of post-production. Send me an email with your requirements and I will send it to Joan and his team so we can provide you with an offer tailored to your needs.

    And last but not least, if you need some photos on the same day for social media or any other use, there is no problem, I also offer this option (maximum of 5 photos) for a small extra editing fee.
